Does the face of a golf driver get tired after a few years of golf?
I have a Ping G2 driver, bought it in 2006. I play 2 or 3 times a week and practice too. Would it be possible for the face to get tired. My swing speed is about 112 and I hit it around 285-298. Used to hit it a little farther, but I was bigger. Was wondering whether it was time to buy a new one?
Yes, they definitely do wear out over a few years. It’s been 4 years that you’ve had it and you play a lot, so it’s no surprise that it’s worn down. It probably is time to buy a new one soon.
