Super Mario Kart was released for Super Nintendo in 1992. In this classic racing game, you take control of a famous character Mario and the twenty race subjects. Every aspect of the game is Mario with issues and everything, from music to sound effects to graphics is wonderfully reminiscent of classic Mario games. Super Mario Kart has sold over 8 million copies worldwide.

Super Mario Kart is an arcade style racing game with a touch impressive drive on yellow tiles will give you a random pickup of the item can be used in a variety of ways. A Green Shell can be fired directly in front, while a shell red acts as a homing missile. A star will lead you through your opponents and send them to facilities in the air, while a pen will allow jump over obstacles and walls to create shortcuts. The ultimate weapon, a ray will make all the other runners small and slow, then you can spend over them to crush like a pancake.

The graphics in Super Mario Kart, far from almost everything you find on the Super Nintendo. If you have played F-Zero is called Mode 7 Nintendo's proprietary graphics engine, which extends the boundaries of the console to do something that could be described as 3D. The sensation of speed is impressive, and everything from the tracks runners are beautifully rendered in full color. Sprites are surprisingly detailed, and all the menus and cut scenes to do a good job of keeping their heads in action.

Obviously, this is a racing game, so Nintendo did not put much emphasis on the narrative. However, that does not say that fans of Mario universe is a lot of flashbacks and references to past Mario games. All characters (Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Koopa, and Toad) are popular names among the players of Mario. In fact, this is the first Mario game in the series where they can play as the bad.

Others aspects of the game do a great job of this practice in the Mario feel as well: you can collect coins and stars to make you temporarily invincible, and fire shells of turtle green and red to your opponents. Most all the tracks are familiar places and Mario, as the ghost house and the castle of Bowser.

The soundtrack Super Mario Kart features plenty of masterpieces of 16-bits that make a great addition to the canon of Mario. The real joy of audio SMK, however, are the effects sound. You hear all kinds of sounds reminiscent of classic Mario games.

Super Mario Kart is one of the most replayable games currently available for Super Nintendo console. The single player mode, including time trials and family physicians are challenging enough to take several hours to master, and gamers will love Intelligent trying to beat their old times. The real meat of Mario Kart, however, lies in the multiplayer mode. Racing against your friends and use different weapons pills is fun, and the excellent battle mode (essentially a game of last man standing, where the focus is on blast your opponents with shells) is a perfect diversion career.

Any fan in the world of Mario, and anyone who enjoys arcade style racing in general, it would be cheating if you do not try Super Mario Kart.
